Not sure what this guy is talking about when he says he didn't hit the orange well in a driver. I just watched the other video where he hit the orange in a driver and he hit it 340 down the middle over and over.
what would you suggest as a good alternative for the Mitsubishi tensei ck pro orange 70tx for a 15 degree sim2 max 3 wood?
Tensie orange or Diamana M red shaft for my Mizuno ST200 driver? 6 month new golfer
Thank you
Club pros are so far behind that it’s not worth having a conversation. Attitude seems really bad towards any conversation about alternative shafts. End up just buying used and trying them myself.
Can you guys do a av Raw vs ck pro?
hit me right in the feels when they said no one uses steel in their driving iron… I felt like i was some kind of outcast hahahaahah. Im using a tipped DG x100 im my srixon U45 bent 1 deg strong to 17 I cant imagine using anything else to be honest…
I play the Tensei pro orange 60TX in my PXG PROTO driver. My swing speed on course is around 107 to 110. I was fit for this shaft because my miss is a hook. I can definitely say it feels more firm than what I’m used to, and the results have been great. I’m just curious if I had come into your shop would you have even considered this shaft for me with my swing speed and miss. Thank you
Is this shaft in this video the 80 gram version in x flex or 90 gram tx?
This video is actually pretty helpful – but for the inverse. Looking at putting a Tensei White in a driving iron – and that shows the performance I would want.
First of all, I feel Ian and Matt don't miss. The information is beyond valuable. I have been fitted for irons and a driver in the last month in Arizona and I have used these videos as a base for what I should know or feel in a fitting. I don't make much money so this was a big purchase for me. Naturally, one could be skeptical of any fitter that doesn't go into detail like Ian does as I walked in for my fit. I am a mid/high handicapper and when Ian said they carry the Tensei Orange 60 in regular – meant for slower swing speeds (more than likely common for people of lower swing speed/skill set). Instantly felt re-assured I have gotten the right shaft for me. Props to my fitter and thanks for asking Ian that question towards the end Matt! Please, NEVER stop making videos.
Guys, love the channel and all the info you provide. What I would love to see is one of you testing something completely different than your usual go to shafts on a driver and go through a fitting to dial it in and see where you end up. How about something less common like an even flow t1100 white maybe on a cobra f9 or speedback?
Would it ever make sense for an average speed player who currently uses a stiff counterbalanced shaft to play Tensei orange regular?
I went for a driver fitting and tried probably 10 different shafts with slightly different results but when he put the Tensei orange in my ping G410 the driver came alive! I absolutely couldn't believe a shaft could make that big of a difference but it made a believer out of me the importance of getting fit for any club!! Love the channel you guys just rock!
The tensei orange is amazing for me. I’m not a high speed guy either. 106 driver speed. But,the orange tightened strike pattern for me. Amazing shaft. I play the TX flex too. More for weight as I play shorter length driver and fairways.
Is there any upgraded ones for tour players or are the stock ones similar. Similar how you buy the stock hazrduz but there also handcrafted.
Why not test the non pro Tensei shafts as more available and more suited price point for most people. Thanks
How would you guys say the tensei orange/White compare to the diamana whiteboard? Is the characteristics pretty much the same?
Thinking more about the shafts being played in a driver?
Btw huge fan of all your content!!
What's performance difference between orange pro and stock orange like the option available for 410
How do the finish club builds differ if any vs the fitting version with those universal adaptors? My understanding is there is a club head sleeve portion and then a shaft tip and they connect similar to a ping fitting cart adaptor. Is that right?
Just curious, I know you guys custom build and match to Matt's swing, but i was looking at the numbers and the dynamic loft is flatter with the stiffer profile orange and the dynamic loft is higher. Are the two shafts frequency matched as well? say both are 290cpm at 41" and at d5 swt? thats comparing apples to apples. You never mention matching frequencies when comparing. you know as well as i do that two stock TX, or any flex for that matter, shafts are not the same frequency. To me it looks like the white could be 3-4 cpm softer allowing the shaft to flex (load more) and deloft the face a couple degrees and the orange is softer in the droop plane of the shaft and allows it to flex (flatten more) and flatten the lie. of course non of this matters if the shafts are the same in frequency in both the strong and soft planes? 3-4 cpm's will make a diff in that. Just a thought. Thanks for awesome videos!!!
Aloha Ian & Matt , Happy Aloha Monday Great review!!! – I just recently changed the shaft on my M4 driver to Graphite design IZ 5S and became more consistent and bit farther than my tensie CK white 60 TX and Orange 60 TX — now I wanted to get a shaft for my 3
wood Calaway rouge –my question is: can i put a 60S diamana shaft Blue ? right now i have 7X Graphite design orange –Need your input — Mahalos- Bubba!!Can you guys do a review on replacing your fairway woods with driving irons?? Kinda like how Norman Xiong has his set. With a FW in the bag.
White felt a bit "heavy" for me in comparison to Orange and my Orange was a wee shorter but much better dispersion.
Best golf channel on The YouTubes
Great video!! I love watching you guys. I’d like to see Matt hit the Tensi Orange regular flex. I’m curious to see how much difference there is.
No way!! I just bought both of these within the last 48 hours. Hilarious
Great vid guys. Any chance of an Oban Kiyoshi shaft comparison? Black/White/Purple etc. Driver/fairway/hybrid please.
No wonder you guys only film a day a week. Matty would be spending all his profits on clubs and shafts otherwise..
Explain this please: is it how high the balance point is that determine if the shaft is counterbalanced or not??
Its a little confusing cause there is a Tensei Orange that is more tip soft, and a CK pro orange that you test in this video.
Tensei Orange. Not gonna miss pull side with it. Have it in my G400Max and love it.
Please continue these great videos. Also for someone who has a swing similar to a Ryan Moore/Jim Furyk style, what kind of weight for a hybrid shaft would be recommended
I’ve got a tensei av series shaft in my hybrids it’s regular flex and I think it is 60g. It has the white colour on it, the only ones I can find online that match the specs are blue. I just wanted to see how much the shafts would be to buy on their own but I can’t find it anywhere online, do you guys know the exact name of the shaft I have?
