320 is a butt when it’s attached to M4. Hand grip gets in the way. Stand alone it’s fun and effective.
So the info I found on this said it has a better sight for day night acquisition but most men who use the m203 don't use sights because its 2nd nature to fire after a short time using it and they can instinctively tell where the round is going to land and it's side reloading and you can take it off and use it and at the same time lose the ability's to use your rifle it just doesn't seem like reasons to upgrade if anything just throw the new sight on the m203. The M320 has the same range, same accuracy as the M203 but is slightly heavier even more so with its laser, with a slightly larger profile. It just doesn't seem like a replacement more like the new sight should have been a upgrade to the M203
. Mind you the M203 cost $1,082 compared to the M320 at $3,500! That's over 2x more expensive for basically a stock, side loading, sight, and a laser for some weird reason…
If someone can link info that isn't some H&K spokesman hyping up his own system or a guy that thinks its better because its new and can show me a true non-bias party reviewing and testing the weapon so I can see why this was adopted or if this was bureaucracy like how the UCP camo got adopted.

I used the 320 in Afghanistan I didn’t use it stand alone but mounted on my M4 and it was just so front heavy on the rifle made it harder to shoot both. As a grenadier I want easy access to both weapons. I would have traded it back for my 203 it was just more evenly balanced and easier to use. But I did wipe out a 3 man Taliban mortar team down the backside of a ridgeline with the 320. It’s just heavy and awkward on the front end of a M4

I’ve always loved all grenade launchers. I got to fire the M32 recently and it’s fun as hell to shoot.

Are 40mm shotgun rounds legal to use with grenade launchers in America? I'm asking because even with the M320 available to civilians, I would prefer to use the aforementioned shotgun rounds.
