Today I had my lumbo-sacral mri at 10am but they did it in my normal shirt with buttons. I was told to change only trousers there. I was not told to drink water. However, I had drunk one glass of water at 6am. Will the images be quite clear or not?

This is a detailed explanation of my HNP rather than my doctor. Clear understanding why i am suffering. 8 years ago, I had undergo rehab of my neck (includes traction too). But my NHP, 2 yrs ago, I had an accident, fell from a motorcycle, since then the pain is excruciating. Currently undergoing rehab. Is it realy that my spine is weak & my accident contributed my HNP (Herniated Nucleous Pulposos)? Thank you.

Dr in locations for disc herniation , central and median are the same ? Same with lateral and foraminal are they the same ?
I’m sorry but in our collage we study from other different references so I just want to know if they are the same

I had an MRI a week ago that shows I have three bulging discs in my lumbar but the worst one is a diffuse disc bulge with broad-based central disc protrusion and bilateral facet djd, moderate bilateral lateral recess stenosis with contact of the descending nerve roots bilaterally, and mild bilateral foraminal stenosis. That’s the L4-L5. I feel like surgery is on the horizon because so far none of the conservative treatments have helped at all. I’ve had chiropractic adjustments, TENS unit, cupping, stretches, gabapentin and mobic. I’m somewhere between 40-50 days of miserable pain and discomfort. It never goes away. A constant pain level of 5 if I’m not moving. Movement brings it up to 7-8 and the wrong moves bring it up to 10+, unbearable pain. It’s all in my leg from my hip to my foot. I can’t perform sciatic flossing exercises, fail the slump test, positive crossed sciatic sign. It sucks bad. I gotta wait two more weeks for a follow up appointment with the doctor to see what’s next. Injections or surgery I suspect.

I feel a stab in a very certain spot in my lower left back when I do certain stretches..
I have for about 4 months (Doctor next week).
Yet sometimes the stabbing feeling is in the spot itself and that's it and sometimes when I am trying to do a certain stretch which cause that stabbing feeling I feel kind of stretch behind/side my thigh then to the glute a little bit (depend on the kind of stretch) and then to the spot in my lower back (left only).
    Sciatica or Disc???
In rare occasions I feel it when i step on my left heel and it radiates to the stabbing spot in my lower back (left).
That spot isn't in the spine in the middle, it is about 1CM to the left.
