Shot number 27 looks like it was a super high slice 70 yards right. Eliminate that shot from the comparison and the results are much closer. Just a thought. Cheers!
Great review Jak! I found similar results— Super spinny. So they were not for me. But I would imagine they would be good for those with slower swing speeds. I know the mantra is “high launch, low spin” but I’ve seen fitters aim for higher spin numbers when the ball speed is low enough in order to maximize height and carry.
What would be good Jack is some course vlogs see what your handicap is now would be good. Maybe with some of your demo clubs take some of the tool box and see how different handicaps handle the clubs and there response to them

Great video Jak, I’ve been using kirklands for a while. Agree with the scuffing up, if I don’t lose any after a round with them I just put them into my practice balls.

Tried these last summer thought they were horrendous mid to long irons and hybrids and woods went nowhere also had some really strange ball flights hit a good shot out the middle ball would veer off in weird direction. Only good thing they spun like crazy on short irons around the green best ball ive used but it was hard getting to the green. Might of had a bad quality box dunno but never use these again.
Great review. I have been playing these on the course along side all the premium balls. I agree there is a little difference in distance off the driver. Is that enough to not use them? I don’t think so. I shoot the same score with these as I do with Pro v’s, Chrome Soft or Z Stars. Bottom line, when I bash one of these out into the rhubarb it bothers me a lot less losing a $1 vs. a $5 golf ball.
Unfortunately I don’t think they’ll ever fully stack up against the big brands, but for the price who can complain!

Wow, even less distance with driver. I found with the original that not a lot of difference off irons but did lack distance off my driver. Now, apparently the actual original original Kirkland was right up there with a Pro-v1. Spoke with a Titleist rep about this and they did put their legal department on to it and Costco withdrew that particular model from production. Viva Ronaldo (unfortunately not today). Put that in as a UTD fan myself but don’t really need to win the balls When you can get the Srixon AD333’s or Soft Feels from Sports Direct, 2 dozen just a few quid more than the Kirkland, cheers for the test Zak, shame it wasn’t better news.
Would love to see how these stack up against other balls around the same price range.
