too Americsn – ham and bacon, also a massive amount of cheese and also cream. for me a quiche is light and rustic (not finely chopped) with whatever fresh ingredients you have from your garden.

This looks good but it has to have a ton of calories
I've had a woman not go on a second date with me because I ordered the quiche, something she ordered and said was delicious. She said she didn't believe real men could eat quiche, she was visibly turned off by me having the quiche. I was okay with that. Because if she was like that over a quiche. I didn't want to know about her actual serious objections.

Bacon should NOT be deep fried in its own oil, otherwise it turns into crumbly pork rinds (which happened in this recipe).
I used a premade pie crust it was cracked and the egg leaked all over the oven….what a mess
