   I work at Sally's and we've had supply issues with Ion Swimmers leave in. I guess I won't be able to try it. I guess I'll have to find something else. Keeping my hair pretty has been a concern in the back of my mind for awhile leading up to me swimming again.

   Cool tips. I use Ion semi-permanent colors (Sally Beauty) and it's inexpensive, comes in "an artist's paint tube" and is easy to refresh. Coconut oil also make great lubricant for tight monofins like my Mahina. I usually have my hair in a tight braid, and notice that the loose ends fade more in the pool. I think I'll do the conditioner/coconut oil, braid and go.

    I have dyes my hair countless times!rainbow,blue,red,currently perple,green,silver,you name it I have done it,even blonde!my nachral is dark blond nearly brown,so of course i have to bleach.in regards to dye I have used ion,and manic panic as well as some random brands.have herd good things about Arctic fox and splat however.i personally can't mermaid myself at the moment,wish I could tho.but I do swim when I can.cold water is always recomended with dye.wash it after you swim.use condiner,but I don't use shampoo right after becuase shampoo tends to strip color more then conditioner.condiciner still cleans it just fine for me anyway.i always dye it at home never porfessinal personally,I mange just fine..also have at least a genreal idea of what I am doing after years of it.so yeah my 2 cents lol.
