aaaaaaaaaaaa
This was very clear and concise. Thank you so much for taking the time to help us
A little late to the party here, but have to say this was an extremely useful video. I'm taking music production lessons and one of the first things that was talked about was intervals in a scale. This helped to reinforce what I was learning there, so thank you!
I don’t think it’s a matter of your viewers knowing general intervals, it’s a matter of you showing first general intervals and then name naming the types. Since you are making quick videos of a comprehensive subject, don’t assume your viewers to understand the concept immediately if you aren’t willing to expand on this vid.
Perfect
Straight forward. Thank you
Who gives a sharp what the distance is? Why do I need this?
What do you mean by concordant and discordant intervals?
Tysm, I needed this for school and now I understand.
A great video but it left me with a few questions
Why isn't the "2nd" called "perfect" if it's the same in major and minor scales?
And what would the interval between C# and D be called? Diminished 2nd?
why is the minor third 3 half steps including the first note but then when finding the minor third for a Major relative scale, it is three half steps not counting the first note.
Very good summary. Thank you
Thank you
now i can flex on other producers who dont know music theory lol
Soo… there's no minor 2nd?
you’re helping me pass a placement test thank you lmao
thank you for explaining everything that i need to know in 6 mins, my teacher used more than a hour and i didn't understand anything
Idk what it is but 5ths sound freaking great
This is what I do in my head to write music without my instrument.
I don’t have any theory beyond the notes and basic VERY basic sight reading.
Is this lesson mostly for communicative purposes?
thank you you saved me
Awesome clearly explained. Thanks
thank you
Nice video. Can you please explain about E minor scale intervals please?
Excellen tutorial, thanks!
ohhhh if it has a "b" symbol it's a minor
BRO how am EYE supposed to MAKE a composition with 2/3 INTERVALS WHY DOES MY TEACHER HATE US
Thank you Sir Odd Quartet. . . This video helped me so much, the topic is so easy to understand.
I got 10/10 in my short quiz, thank you. Clicks the Subscribe button
3:30 3D interval distances.
What I do not get is: if i have for example a G# and a Ab ist that a unison ? Because as fa as I understand they are basically the same note. But in the notation they are a second, atleast in distance
… But a second is not a unsion is it ? Where is the mistake in this thought process ?
It's a very good lesson. I am a little confused at one point. You showed Major 3rd with flat key and wrote Major third. Isn't it a Minor third? Then you added another flat key and said it's Minor third. I was confused thinking 2 flat key made a Major 3 rd a Minor. And 3 flat key made diminished.
you saving my life rn with my niece. She dont listen `haha
how do we know if it is minor or major eg the c minor intervals you showed could also be e flat
thanks for this video. now i might actually pass my finals-
Do you count notes that aren’t in the scale when referencing a interval to a note? Or would you say that it’s a “third” for example but only counting the notes in the scale? Thanks, good video
It is for a lecture for my online classes now! thank you ❤️
How come the 2nd isn’t perfect
It’s in both major and minor
So a half step played together is a minor 2nd?
C and C#
