hello i bought the same wheels it says for shimano 8 9 10 speed and i have 8 speed casette when they arrive the hub says for shimano 9 speed casette and above im confused do i need new casette?
I just put these on my bike. The differences are huge, it's like a rocket ship in comparison to the stock wheels.

Great review – I'm after a new set of wheels, also to transport a Yorkshireman. Before I started looking, my 2 criteria were: Round. In fact the rounder, the better, & clicky. Decision made!!

So – somehow broke a spoke on my Hyperions (circa 15 or so)…put on a Zonda, while a great wheel….it lasted about 20 miles and I had to put on another spare…Neutron – man is that Zonda stiff as all get out…..
Been riding Zondas for 2/3 years now and they were secondhand when I got them. They have been well used on the usual rough arse Yorkshire roads in all weathers. I've had some heavy, heavy crunches from potholes and dodgy road repairs and despite everything they are still perfectly true and the bearings smooth.
Mine are two-way fit so I use them tubeless. Great wheels………………Great video too.

Any idea how much faster/better these are than Mavic Cosmic Elite's that my bike came with? I'm looking for some new wheels (for a few reasons) but want something snappier than what I've got. Can't find any useful info on the web.

I just ordered a pair! I'm kinda feeling bad for purchasing new wheels to my fresh 1 year old bike with stock aksiums on, but they give no emotion, look so bland and the rear one is out of true… I'll just leave them or sell them or something. I just really want to know what's like to have a good set of wheels that are durable and can take a lot of punishment on bad roads out there!

The Zonda C17 are half the price of my bike, but if I have the choice between a better groupset and better and lighter rims … haaah, of course rims.
I have the Zondas as well. A worthy upgrade. Not much for what I consider the mid range training/racing wheels from Campagnolo. The equivalent to the Zonda on Fulcrum Racing is the Racing 3. For some strange reason, the Fulcrum Racing 3 costs more than be Zonda. Fulcrum Racing is owned by Campagnolo.

Friendly, interesting video as always. Give tubeless a second chance in your mind next time though. My new bike (last year) came with them. I was horrified at first after I watched a couple instructional videos about mounting tires, maintenance etc. But now, I would never go back.
I’ll give these wheels a look. I went from tubeless back to inner tubes for simplicity while changing flats, and I also want an everyday wheel. Very enjoyable review!
