I have patella tendon pain for past 4 years from this condition. Hoping this kind of surgery isn't too invasive on patella tendon.
Another procedure that might be good to look into is ultrasound guided lavage, but in my case the calcium was too solidified instead of chalky/toothpasty.
It's better to look into this condition early when the calcium might still be soft.

He accidentally grab toilet paper that fell due to reflex n felt a snap on his shoulder, he said pain is 5 out of 10. But now he can’t really bend his shoulder because of the discomfort. I have been getting worsening shoulder pain for 8 months and today had an ultrasound which found I have calcific tendonitis in my supraspinatus and bursitis. It is so painful I can't sleep. I have read online that is usually gets better within 2 to 4 months but it has been going on for 8 months is this normal?
im 38 male. heavy weight lifter and trucker. right shoulder was diagnosed with calcfic bursitis. igot 1 cortisone shot and it hasnt helped. can this go away on its own? or does it just keep getting worse
