What's the best solution to use to clean/wipe down the mirrors? I'm thinking of getting one this at light.
you talk about underpowering your speakers, but what about when im not performing and i just want to practice. Obviously i dont want to practice at such a high volume. So im still a bit confused, youre saying its bad to underpower my speakers, so it is not okay to turn the volume down on my amplifier or mixer??
It,s one of the best lights out there and the mega par profile is good for any lightshow.

@briansredd I was thinking it was an older light and had to check the posted date on the video. Although it's another "dot" light, it does bring something different to the table. I like it. Maybe it's not for everyone, but for a guy who's making the transition to a more intelligent lights how, this might do the trick.

has anyone here ever had a light fall? without a safety cable, I can imagine it could be pretty bad– especially if it fell onto someone, but the light itself would probably be in pretty bad shape as well.
when I've put up stage lighting, I've always made sure the clamps were good and secure. working with the safety cables, I still haven't figured out how they could come loose and fall without being noticed other than extreme neglect.
@S4MUZIK to be fair, this is an older fixture. There are loads of new non-dot products out there, but many of them are not nessessarily at what some would consider a budget price.
@aftashok1 I usually project my vue2 on ceilings and have the vue 6 circling the room. This light is cool, but its just the same ol same ol moonflower effect with the dots. For these lighting companies to convince me to buy a new light, they have to do something different other than just rearranging the patterns of the same old dots. I've never had someone come up to me at a party and said "Damn…dont you have any different pattern". The chauvt swarm is an example of improvement.
Enough with the dots already. This lighting companies need to do something different. I've been using the vue 2 and 6.1 for years and i haven't really seen a reason to get anything else. These lights are all the same. The crowd are not gonna see most of the patterns anyway if the light is shined on the dancefloor. Dunno what these lighting companies should do, but they should do something else.

yes i have this light,but it is not for me,the microphone seems to be too sentive and thiers no controll of this…
patterns only work if microphone is off….not that good for money £150.00 4/10

AWESOME, we've been tired of the moonflower type effects and had decided not to buy any more " DOTS " lights, BUT seeing this in action makes me want 2 to put up on the truss. Thanks for the video and making me rethink my views on some new lights
