Use non sweet plain yogurt for fluid. You'll be able tocolor and pour. Add serving spoon size and if you need more just add a little at a time.
It can go in frig
And ready to use in a week. Maybe two because you used more milk. But you can use it now just to try.
Looks like mashed potatoes. So it's thick right now. Yogurt will be your best friend when making HP.
Yogurt will make it more fluid and pourable. And loose enough to add colors. No chunks. Try it and let me know what you think.
