Wow what an exciting end to this board! Was so sure Jon was finally going to win with his Hyper for once. The seagull didn't really decide much considering Jon still wouldn't have made it all the way to his base before Emile would've won anyway. I'm really glad the AI didn't win!
Well…that really was an ending.
Wow I can't believe that ending actually happened. I kind of disliked Emile's play of attacking the AI, because it seemed like he would have no chance of winning from it and so he should just let the AI have a chance for fun. But through an incredible sequence of events Jon got DESTROYED and gave him enough time to win. Even gave the AI enough time to possibly win if it wasn't for Emile winning faster. Felt sad looking at the end where oh everybody has enough stars to be in the running… but Tim is only level 2.
I wanted the CPU to win it this time. :/
Yet again, the AI fails to demonstrate their hyper and bring fear into the hearts of the puny humans.

That was absolutely certified 100%OJ moment!! Got me leaning at the edge of my seat for almost the whole time! XD
Oh, speaking of OJ, the devs added a new update where you can pick your own your AI/CPU opponents. Maybe they can use that feature to include unintroduced characters into the game and see how those characters play out (If they're still recording the series at this day of course).

We will now forever scream "JOHNATHAN!" whenever things go horribly wrong.
I know it's a rhetorical question but the seagull is named Jonathan because of Jonathan Livingston Seagull.
If there were ever a game to show just how insane 100% OJ is, it's definitely this one.
I enjoy that they got modded sprites for all of them but i do with they played around with the other characters, i know the AI is supposed to be the character showcases but the ai kinda never get to show off what makes them all fun and unique and also flips between god strats and toddler brain which doesnt really get to showcase alot of characters true potential.
For example maynie not using her hyper both games shes in, nor does she have the setup potential to actually get rage counters.
I can look past the lack of card variety, not much they could have really done with most people having played vary little, but id love to see them try out some of these other characters and their very different playstyles, even if it meant not always having their personal skins.
Been loving the fact that they even gave this game the time of day, though, im not really complaining, just sharing my thoughts.

For a map without Battlefield, there were a ton of Wins flying around. I'm surprised Jon didn't go for Wins norma with the boss out of the way (not that it ultimately mattered, anyways).
Jon: "In a rare change of pace, I'm actually gonna switch back to normal."
(cue over ten seconds of stunned silence)
Kinda surprised at how relevant Maynie ended up being, despite never using her hyper. And being an AI, so not really strategizing around said hyper. For the record, the usual strategy I've seen is building up to about 8 or so rage by using cards that may hurt yourself, and always defending (rage doesn't decay on death, after all), then using the hyper, getting ridiculous bonuses to attack and evade, but not going for the targeted unit until ready to finish. You still have your massive buff when fighting others, hitting hard, but almost impossible to hit yourself, and you still get stars and wins, even if it is a bit slower than normal. Basically just "hit me!" the character.
Seagulls are evil. This is undisputed fact.

Until the love is suddenly interrupted when literally EVERYONE ELSE (including a seagull) just shows up at their space the next second and incites a skirmish with them.
note for yall if even one of those frost pannels were anywhere diferent chugga would of died to jon (or atleast VERY likely to of)
oh I have a fun story regarding Chuggaa's "I am irrelevant mcirrelevantpants in this game"
so I was playing this game with my friends (I was playing as Sora), and I was just doing horribly, getting no kills, bad rolls, rarely able to land on a draw space, and I was level 3 while everyone else was level 5 (and one was level 4), so of course they ignored me for the most part, and then I kinda stumbled into a kill on the boss since it had 1 hp and got over 300 stars from it and just, nobody noticed? and then suddenly I started rolling really well while my friends were focused on each other, constantly killing each other and passing around who had over 200 stars, so nobody could norma, and I landed on someone else's base, got to level 4, landed on my base, got to level 5, and then the next turn one of my friends was like "wait, when did you hit level 5?" and it was hilarious as everyone went nuts like "oh god I have to hit my base Now" or "oh god I have to kill her Now" and I think 2 turns later I just went like "hey hey, watch this" and used my hyper to guarantee I'd roll 6 and land on someone else's base, it was glorious, my favourite win ever because I just stumbled into it after doing terribly for the whole game
also I only play the game casually and do not care about tier lists, please don't tell me how I could have played differently or anything, I just think Sora is cute and I am gay
