Who do you think makes the BEST golf ball?
Costco doesn’t make there own golf balls they just put there name on someone’s made balls. So these are most likely good quality balls with the Costco name on it
Welp, there was certainly no myth-busting happening in this video. I still believe there is a negatively charged magnet in the hole and a positively charged magnet in the ball. Prove me wrong. These balls avoid the hole like a priest fresh out of seminary school
Just ordered some after finding one around Denbigh golf course last Wednesday. The one I found was brand spanking new and had no marks whatsoever.
I took it out for 9 holes and I was impressed.
The alignment logo, (PERFORMANCE+), is not on the seam, unlike the ProV1. In fact I looked closely at the ball and couldn't find the seam at all.
I am still using ProV1s that feature a seam on the cover and have all ways hit the ball off the tee and putted on the seam, having been advised this was a good thing to do.
What's your view in this Rick?
Just bought a box… excited to slice and lose them into water and woods.
I have used the Kirkland golf balls for awhile now. I do like them quite a bit. The differences between a Kirkland and prov1 are so subtle. However, I will say all it takes is one bladed wedge for them to unplayable. I even competed in a tournament recently at my club, brand new ball, first hole, perfectly struck gold ball from 100 yards (full wedge), and you could see considerable damage. It looked very similar to what a premium golf ball would look after hitting the cart path. This stuck out to me so much because I grabbed a new ball (only did so because it was a tournament) and the exact same thing happened on the third hole. They are 1/4 the price but are not durable, I play them, just something to keep in mind.
How much did the weather play in the tests?
If Titleist sued them, they’re as good as PV1
would have been nice to see spin rate and distance from the GCQuad compared to a ProV1, TP5 on the same day
Is it going in the bag?
Are Kirkland Golf Balls actually manufactured by them or other brands?
How do you measure the rpm of the golf ball?
Imagine golfing a round and not loosing 3 balls every time
cover on it is kinda weak on it, my irons chip the cover off the ball, if it hits a tree or path once, its done.
Can you review the Druids balls? Keep seeing them advertised.
I’m not worried about how long a ball lasts. It’s gonna be in the water or trees after 4 holes max
Unfortunate graphics on the box. They make it look as if someone stuck the ball up their arse.
Uhh, these are nowhere near the performance or durability of any upper tier golf ball.. much less a Titleist ProV1
Bough a pack of 2 dozen of these in the week and used than today. What a revelation. As a 12 handicap I could hardly tell any difference between these and Pro V1 that I often play. If anything slightly higher spin. Just as durable too. For £27 for 2 dozen compared with £90 for 2 dozen Pro V1 these things are going to be in my bag for a long time.
Why would you use such a heavy ball?
I use the Titleist True Feel balls most of the time. Usually around $26 a dozen. Not the best ball for distance but super consistent.
anyone know if there is a way, like font or markings on the ball to differentiate between the original and the V2.0??
Rick just played finally in good conditions on dry course -rolled greens and Kirkland Golf Ball/get this 15 {1} putts pin zing putter 15 shots from around 85 yrds in Average 13.5 feet/4.11 metres approx shot 85 & I am 80 Happy a Pig in you know what=by the the way the wedges were Kirkland as welll with my own fine grind/ I did not mention wifes score-1st year under 110 1st time out on real course=not bad she has been watching your series with my helo and she think she is a better putter 31 putts reaaly good I found an old Wilson mallett Style in closet I think I just lost it……Keep up the chuckles we enoy videos
I always played Prov 1 until I tried the Kirkland ball. They are great. Good distance and feel. I play off 7 handicap and have noticed no difference from Pro V1's. The Financial benefit is superb.

ordered another 2 doz for 37$ today. soft feel and great spin around greens. why anyone pays more is beyond me. an extra 5 yrds on a drive for an extra 2$/ball… r u kidding.

Rick, can you do a test of the effect ball damage has on performance? Iike brand new vs scuffed vs really scuffed?
Idk what it is but I can’t shoot with white balls anymore I feel like they blend into the woods some how and I’m searching for 5 minutes off every tee
I’ll never be good enough to justify spending $3-$4 per ball. I’ve been given ProV1s as gifts and my game is no different than when I’m hitting my Kirklands. I’m a bogey golfer and a fan of Kirkland balls and golf gloves. Huge bang for the buck!
Folks need to remember that Kirkland products are normally made by a major manufacturer.
Accordingly, it’s not surprising their golf balls are this good.
Rick you should try and find out who actually makes the balls you may be surprised
