i see this post is old but I'm desperate. I started have neck pain like if someone is pushing their fingers into the side of my neck but now its in my arm my fingers my leg my buttocks it is so numb and tingly. But I'm noticing it going into the side of my face in my ear and my shoulder blade when I touch it with my hands it feels numb and before it came and gone but now it's constant i hope someone sees this and can give me some advice

Thanks very much Doc this is a big help. I am no stranger to pain – I have an artificial disc in my lower back – and I've had my fair share of neck & shoulder problems, all those years ago on the Wrestling mats trying to be a tough guy. But something must have happened in my sleep Sunday to Monday, because I woke up with I guess what appears to be the textbook definition of Radiculopathy and it has just gotten worse all week. These stretches seem to really help, thank you again!

  3. Jake and Fanny says:

Thanks for the great videos! I have a pinched nerve and as soon as I retract my head back away from my finger I have pain shooting down my arm that worsens if I try to tuck my chin. Is it safe to continue this stretch?

  4. P Jeffery says:

I’m going to try these, doc. I’ve had neck issues for a lot of my life and I had to give up working out due to neck / shoulder issues. One chiropractor said I have some atrophy there, but I’m leaning towards cervical radiculopathy.

Whenever I lift something heavy or do pull workouts in the gym I feel like an electric shock feeling in my forearm and palm, I also get the same type of feeling whenever I do tricep pressdowns. I have a bulgding disc, could this be the cause of these feelings ?

  6. Mitzi Tizeno says:

Omg!! I just want to say thank you so much for making this video and the others too. I been suffering with cervical radiculopathy for fives months now and fighting with my insurance company for a mri. This is helping so much thank you

    Just subscribed.

I have this reduced sensation in my right forearm and underneath my bicep, with tingling in pinky and ring fingers, as well as my thumb tingling as well. The feeling in the arm is weird, it feels like there's reduced sensation deep within the arm, but the surface of the skin feels fine. It's been this way for about a week. Please tell me if I can get full feeling back in this arm, I'm extremely observant of changes like these, which makes it very easy for me to worry about it.

  8. Joan Nogueira says:

Can the pinched nerves causes discomfort on the side of your head too? I feel sometimes a tightness, I swear sometimes I also feel like somethings crawling on the side which freaked me out and went to the emergency room but nothing was done, doctor said it was job related. Since last January I've been having ringing on that same side I'm just wondering are the all connected?
