Hi I'm from the Caribbean and we use seamoss in various ways and to acquire all the essential nutrients both internally and topically is to use in the raw form. After thoroughly washing the moss a few times , place in water that has been boiled and cooled and cover and keep in the refrigerator for a few days and then blend it using the liquid it was sitting in…..most flavor and no nutrients lost by cooking and the texture is the same as boiling

This isn't natural Seamoss. Its thick and has a salt like substance on it
I don’t wanna be that person in the comments but real sea moss is thinner and doesn’t have salt . Hope this helps some off y’all out

You aren't supposed to boil sea moss, adding any kind of heat to sea moss diminishes the integrity of the nutrients it contains. If you are using sea moss for it's vitamins and minerals a way you can retain its benefits and achieve that gel like liquid solution is by soaking your sea moss overnight in a covered bowl and draining it the next day, Just a tip from someone who makes sea moss gels frequently.
